Forthcoming Books – Spring 2020
“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all –
-Emily Dickinson
Though much is scary and uncomfortable in our current circumstances, hope remains for brighter days ahead. For those of you who take solace between the covers of a book, we trust you will find hope in new offerings from some of your favorite authors. Below you’ll find a list of books being published this spring that we expect to be popular with our members. Though the Library is closed, the staff continues to work to order books, both for our ebook platform and for when we are able to open again. You may place reserves on any of these titles. The most popular among these will made available in our Cloud Library ebook collection. If there is something you're looking forward to reading, but don't find it here or in the Library's catalog, simply request it from the Acquisitions Department by using the Suggest a Purchase form on our website.
Due to the current situation, some publishers have chosen to delay publication of anticipated titles until later in the year, so release dates are subject to change.
