School & Organization Memberships
The New York Society Library offers memberships for schools as well as for not-for-profit and profit-making organizations.
School Memberships
The Library staff works in partnership with school librarians to provide the following services:
- Loan of books as designated by the school's librarian
(A total of 20 may be checked out at any time.) - Reference instruction and use of our Reference Room by students and teachers
- Opportunity to suggest book purchases
- Invitation to Library lecture series and to participate in Young Writers Awards competition
School memberships do not include access to the Library's electronic resources nor the use of the Library's interlibrary loan service. Only the school librarian may enter the stacks.

Organizational Memberships
