Join us for wine and refreshments as we celebrate Tweed’s and its contributors.

Tweed’s Magazine of Literature & Art is a bi-annual publication that publishes fiction, interviews, essay, poetry, and art. They aim to feature content that is socially and politically relevant, with topics such as climate change, gender bias, fundamentalism, and the social injustices caused by free-market capitalism. The name of the magazine alludes to Boss Tweed, a Civil War-era New York City politician who is recognized as a symbol of American greed and corruption, and the name Tweed’s was chosen in order to comment on the way in which our society has been completely corrupted by money. The first two issues of Tweed’s feature Edwidge Danticat, Joyce Carol Oates, Lydia Davis, Charles Simic, Reza Aslan, Siri Hustvedt, C.K. Williams, Amy Grace Loyd, John Freeman, Sjón, and many more.
