It's Complicated: Secrets, Schemes, and Friends

Friday, November 13, 2015

Question: What do you get when you fill a room with eager teen and adult readers, three terrific (YA) authors, and an engaging moderator?

Answer: A captivating discussion about the world of YA writing, secrets, and life.

On Sunday, November 8, the Library hosted It’s Complicated: Secrets, Schemes, and Friends, our inaugural Young Adult author event. In a lively conversation moderated by YA Librarian Jennifer Hubert Swan, authors Paul Acampora, Valynne Maetani, and Rebecca Stead shared excerpts from their recent books and their ideas about writing for young adults. All photos by Simen Kot
