Forthcoming Books - Summer 2020
"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." - Audrey Hepburn
The summer's great pleasures are hard to oversell. Sitting by the water, cooking and eating outside, and spending time in the garden rank among my favorites, but nothing beats having long sunny afternoons to get lost in a book. Hopefully your summer will include every delight you wish for and a pile of good books to read. Perhaps you'll find some of those books below. Here is a list of books being published this summer that we expect to be popular with our members. Though the Library is currently closed, the staff continues to work to order books, both for our ebook platform and for when we are able to open again. You may place reserves on any of these titles. The most popular among these will made available in our Cloud Library ebook collection. If there is something you're looking forward to reading, but don't find it here or in the Library's catalog, simply request it from the Acquisitions Department by using the Suggest a Purchase form on our website.
Due to the current situation, some publishers have chosen to delay publication of anticipated titles until later in the year, so release dates are subject to change.
