Caldecott Club, Grades K-2
Join us each month for Caldecott Medal stories and learn the art techniques that make these books award winners. This month enjoy Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, by William Steig, and learn how to make marbleized paper.
- Thursday, October 28, 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Young Writers Workshop, Grades 4 and older.
In this ongoing series, young writers can explore different genres with notable writers. This month, award-winning photojournalist Roberta Fineberg will discuss the elements of photojournalism and guide participants in finding stories in their own photography. Participants should bring five favorite photographs taken by or for them. This event is $10 per person.
