Yours, Anne: The Life of Anne Frank, Grades 4 and older
For her thirteenth birthday, Anne Frank's parents gave her a small plaid diary that she named "Kitty." More than fifty years later, this diary has become one of the most widely read books of all time. Anne's diary, however, does not tell the entire story. At this event Lois Metzger, author of Yours, Anne: The Life of Anne Frank, fills in vital information
about Anne's life, providing a new perspective on the beloved diary.

He's lonely, troubled by the absence of his father, and angry because a mysterious thief steals from his lunch bag.
