Young Writer’s Workshop, grades 4-6
Join our new monthly workshop for young writers. This month, Rachel Cohn, author of
The Steps,
will teach the elements of fiction writing and help participants create their own original stories. This event is $10 per person.

Say Cheese: The Laughter and Lore of Jon Scieszka, grades 1 and older
Jon Scieszka, author of
Math Curse,
The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales, and the
Time Warp Trio Series,
has changed the way children and adults see classic stories. In this event Scieszka will talk about how he creates his books and read favorite passages, including a preview from his upcoming book, Science Verse. This event is $10 per family.
