It was a surprise when Mrs. Olinski’s team won the sixth grade Academic Bowl, and a bigger surprise when they beat the seventh and eighth grade teams. And when they went on to even greater victories, everyone began to ask: How did it happen? Did Mrs. Olinski choose the team--or did they chose each other? Parents and their children are invited for a discussion of this Newbery Medal book by E.L. Konigsburg that asks provoking questions and gives surprising answers.
