    Mother-Daughter Book Discussion
Everything On A Waffle, by Polly Horvath
    , Grades 4-6
Primrose Squarp knows her parents did not perish at sea during a storm, but no one will believe her. For all practical purposes, Primrose is an orphan until her Uncle Jack reluctantly takes her into his care. Although Primrose warms up to living with him, her true sanctuary can be found at a restaurant where everything-including the lasagna-is served on a waffle, and where the owner, Miss Bowzer, offers a willing ear, as well as great advice. Mothers and their daughters in grades 4-6 are invited to discuss this 2002 Newbery Honor book.
