When the new substitute teacher, Mr. Moffat, assigns everyone in class to start keeping journals, Lucy pours out her heart to him in entries titled "For

isn’t such a good friend; her dad and his new wife; and her new love of poetry. Meanwhile Andy, the class troublemaker, does nothing but draw cartoons in his journal. But then Andy starts writing, too, because he has a secret he can't hide any longer. A secret he'll have to find the courage to tell...or write.
