Budding artists and writers are invited to join Bruce Degen for an afternoon of art and stories. At this event he will share his books, demonstrate his art techniques, and talk about his journey from a boyhood love of drawing to becoming an illustrator and author.

Bruce Degen is the acclaimed author and/or illustrator of over forty books, including the award-winning Magic School Bus series, the beloved picture book Jamberry, and I Gotta Draw, the inspiring tale of a student and his love of drawing. Degen’s recent work for young readers, I Said Bed, was hailed as a “seamless melding of story and art” by School Library Journal.
