Chris Raschka

Chris Raschka is the author and illustrator of more than 30 books for children. He won the 2006 Caldecott Medal for The Hello, Goodbye Window (written by Norton Juster) and the 2012 Caldecott Medal for Ball for Daisy. The Caldecott Medal is awarded every year by the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

Raschka's other notable books include Charlie Parker Played Be Bop and the Caldecott Honor book Yo! Yes?. Several of his books have been honored with The New York Times awards for the Best Illustrated Books of the Year.
